This is not the first time I have stayed at this location, it was fantastic last time and it did not disappoint this time. The location is perfect, it is close to the train and bus station and good access to the Cruise Terminal. We Stayed for two nights then went on a Mediterranean Cruise for a week and came back to stay for a further three nights. We stayed in the “Tiziano” apartment which was quite lovely over looking the Gaffaro Canal for the first two nights and the “Caravaggio” apartment for the last three nights this also overlooked the Canal and was my favourite, it had the most amazing Venetian bedroom.
We had posted parcels to Australia prior to our returning, however unfortunately they were returned to the Residence Palazzo Odoni after we left. Our host Michele Giangreco has been most helpful, going out of his way to forward the parcels on to us.
Only downside no washing machine or laundry facilities.
I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation, it has wonderful old world (with a modern touch) Venetian character, is clean and, the staff and host are very helpful and welcoming.

We recently stayed 4 nights in the Residence Palazzo Odoni apartments. Our apartment was on the canal side and was large, clean and beautifully decorated, The location is great... 5-10 minute walk to the Coop grocery store, train station, bus terminal, restaurants, tourist sites, etc. The apartment had a sofa bed, king bed, full bath and completely outfitted kitchen. Please note that you will need to provide your own food, tea and coffee...as it is not provided.

Upon arrival Michael carried our bags upstairs for us and was very helpful with suggestions during our stay. At the end of our stay, when we left at 3:30 am for the airport...the night porter carried our bags downstairs for us. I would rate this place a 10 out of 10!!

Our only COMPLAINT was that we were told by hotel.com that the city tax was 2.50 E per person...but we were charged 4 E per person. I am not sure if this is a Palazzo Odoni issue or a Hotel.com issue.....but I am hoping to hear from Michael re this issue.

Here is what we were told by Hotel.com......

You'll be asked to pay the following charges at the property:

· A tax is imposed by the city and will be collected at the property. This tax does not apply to residents of Venice City and children under 10 years of age. Further exemptions may apply to patients and their companions, and people staying in the city for specific purposes/duties, subject to the submission of proper documents to the property. A 30 percent reduction applies from 1-31 January.
· A tax is imposed by the city: EUR 2.50 per person, per night for adults; EUR 1.50 per night for guests aged 10-16 years old.

We have included all charges provided to us by the property. However, charges can vary, for example, based on length of stay or the room you book.

We stayed three nights here and loved it. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, with an old, classic charm but enough modern amenities for convenience. It's very convenient to the bus/train station and a nice, easy walk to the Grand canal. The owner, Michele, is very nice and has great information and suggestions. He is prompt with any questions you have. I would recommend his beautiful hotel to anyone looking for something quiet and quaint in this gem of a city.
PS-- there is also a gorgeous, friendly, sweet dog on the property who loves belly rubs and will make you want to pet him for hours.

Wow,
We decided that after staying on the lido for nearly 2 weeks we did not want the hassle of getting to the airport in the early morning and booked this apartment at the last minute,
And what a stroke of genius it was
It's one of Venice's hidden gems
Away from the busy area's but close enough for a 10 min walk to the rialto bridge and 20 mins from piazza de San Marco,
It still has all it's venetian charm whilst still affording you that luxury feeling at a price that you rarely get in Venice.
With its stunning entrance courtyard and it's spacious rooms it's just fantastic.
I would recommend these apartments very highly
Very comfortable beds and sofa's, lovely period furniture and a jacuzzi spa bath too,
Very friendly staff that are helpful, and nice quiet restaurants nearby.
I loved it and will be returning when I can and I say you should too.

Great location in a quiet residential area, short walk from Piazza San Marco. Great for families or couples as well. Excellent restaurants in the neighborhood. Our host the owner, Mr. Michele Giangreco greeted us when we arrived and made sure our stay was super comfortable and gave us useful recommendations. Thank you Michele for a wonderful stay in your palazzo!
