Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is hard to find and the area where it's located doesn't really have much to offer. I got lost on my way here and called the hotel--which didn't really help because they don't speak English that well (couldn't blame them though, but this might be of concern if you don't speak any Italian).
It's walking distance to the city centre (around 20 minutes). I stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom. It was ok for the price I paid--definitely wouldn't have paid any more than 30 euros to stay here. One irritating thing though was that the AC had to be turned on from the reception area--so you have to call them to turn it on and wait in the blistering heat until the room cools.
The breakfast was very basic--toast, jam, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs, cereal--but enough to keep you going for the day. The hotel is very close to the train station which is convenient.
All in all my stay here was OK--not good, not bad--just OK. I probably would try to stay at a B&B next time that's in a livelier area.
