I found this nice like place when seeking an off-hour place to eat a bite. I'm glad I came! I had a gofri, which is a light and crispy waffle-shaped bread stuffed with any combo of meat, cheese & veg. I had the prosciutto and cheese. The rich, succulent meat and cheese went nicely with then crunchy waffle. Highly recommended for a quick snack.

Found this little place by accident, and was immediately atracted by the smell. Had the perfect lunch snack. Came back the next day :)

Miacce , Miasse , and Gofri can be seen as a Piemontese version of the north european Waffles . In any case they are cooked on cast iron plates at very high temperature. then filled with ham cheese or salami and served hot.
They are all delightful and it's nice to discover their taste in a small shop in the heart of the old Torino.

When looking for a sandwich, this is very recommendable alternative. Gofris (waffles) and miaccias (white crispy bread) are filled with ham, cheese and vegetables and then grilled. These snacks have a long history but not many place offer them. The taste is delicious and it's quite lightweight snack despite of the fillings. There was also a small shelf of local microbrewery beers which is excellent companion for the food.
