We wanted to go back after the wonderful experience we had last time, so St Valentine's day was a great excuse.

Going back is always a risk, as you may be disappointed, but this was definitely not the case.
All the dishes were exquisite, both in taste and appearance. The dishes really are a mix of italian ingredients, such as the Fassone , and Japanese ones, resulting in very unusual, but delicious food.
The waiter couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.
It really is a dining experience because you will never have tasted these dishes before.
I can't wait for a special occasion to go back!.

We had been recommended this place so as it was our anniversary we decided to try it.
The place is decorated very simply, typical Japanese minimalism, and it is small, no more than 20 places.
The service is impeccable, friendly and attentive without being overly posh.
The food is incredible, typical Italian ingredients served with a Japanese twist. The dishes are all so different form anything I had eaten, and are presented like works of art.
It may seem pricey, but to be honest, considering the care and attention to detail, it is actually great value for money.
I will definitely be going back again soon.

A very good friend of ours coming from Sydney kept talking about Kido- ism ,so he took us there when he came back to Torino : in was a wonderful experience ! You will be welcomed either by a lovely Mongolian young lady or by the kind chef's wife .The breads are all homemade and served with different oils , an amuse bouche is offered and changes depending on the season .The menu is absolutely fusion as the chef is Japanese ,worked in Spain and of course loves Italy .His kataifi pastry wrapped mussels were to die for ,served with a light wasabi mayo and seaweeds ,the fideiu served as a paella take you directly to spain ,the fagottini stuffed with cod fish ,the best we ever had as the pastry was so thin .Not to forget the octopus ,soft and tasty and their desserts must have a try ....an unusual sacker torte served with home made ice cream , a wonderful tarte Tatin ... Good selection of wines and lots of precision .Finally a tour of the world in a meal for 40 / 50 euros

There are quite a few Japanese restaurants in Turin so I suppose the locals like the cuisine. But Kido-ism takes everything to a new level. The food is undeniably Japanese but has subtle elements of Italian cooking as well. Like the use of olive oil or Gyoza which are partially filled with parma ham. The tastes are remarkable and the food just beautifully presented.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is so soothing and cozy, there are probably about seven tables. The owner and a second chef are in the kitchen,m he owner's wife and another lady take care of the extremely pleasant service. This restaurant is run by people who really care about their guests.

There are several fixed menus and quite an extensive a la carte selection. Prices are more than reasonable! They also have a nice wine list. I usually have beer with Japanese food but these dishes definitely deserve a good wine. One course I had was Carbonaro fish marinated in pink grapefruit with a dark sear on the top side. It looked and tasted similar to the Black Cod Miso made famous by the Nobu chain. But dare I say it? Kido-ism's version was even tastier!

If you want a change from pizza and pasta ... and even when not but you love fusion food, definitely book a table here!

Very interesting take on Japanese cuisine. We had a wonderful meal and time here. The service was excellent. The ambiance was very contemporary, a nice change from many traditional places you find in Turin.
