I was worried about coming here based on the very mixed reviews. But it was a Monday off-season and most other places were closed so we went for this one. Meh.
My mushroom pasta was just ok. The portion was unattractivley large and the Parmiggiano - tasteless. And it was very disappointing to get low quality oil to put on top. Not extra virgin, which is cheap and readily accessible in Italy, and not even virgin, but a mix of virgin and refined (and by the taste, largely refined).
My side of grilled vegetables was good - peppers, zucchini, and eggplant were hot and tasty even without the horrible oil I wasn't about to use.
My husband's pasta was ok, but his second dish (from the meat menu) wasn't that great. The crostata (allegedly made in house) was very good. The best part of the meal by far.
Service was inattentive and our courses did not come at the same time. Not much of an atmosphere either.
