Description: Under the watchful eye of acclaimed chef Antonio Guida, our two Michelin-starred Italian restaurant Seta has fast become one of Milan's most talked-about dining destinations. Updating traditional recipes with his own creative culinary techniques, chef Guida's menu offers an exciting, contemporary take on classic Italian cuisine. Located in the hotel's second courtyard, the restaurant's timeless design offers the perfect backdrop to chef Guida's dishes. Featuring wide glass windows, inner and outer spaces merge into one, offering guests the opportunity to dine outside during the warmer seasons. Inside, a visible kitchen allows diners the opportunity to watch our chefs at work, turning the dining experience into a piece of theatre.

Had the surprise business lunch menu and we were delighted. It is expensive but the food you get there is worth every cent.

This was an excellent dinner, but it did fall short of my expectations for a 2-Michelin star restaurant. When we arrived for our reservation we had to stand awkwardly in the foyer until a staff member acknowledged us. There was no courtyard seating for our evening and we were sat next to a large/loud party, which didn't compare to the noise from the bar of the Mandarin Oriental that blared through the door every time it was opened. We opted for the tasting menu, as I believe one should to get the full experience of a restaurant like this. The food was excellently prepared, but it felt like we were eating a menu designed for winter rather than spring - there was a heaviness to the ingredients and we were missing the freshness that should accompany a May menu.

Fantastic dinner at Seta, everything exceeded our expectations. The tasting menu with wine pairing was simply the best. Every course was perfectly cooked and paired with a range of interesting wines, there were no duds. The service was exceptional - everyone was friendly, attentive, professional and took time to talk us through the food and wine, we really could not find fault. All of this, together with the courtyard setting, made for a great and memorable evening.

Not sure what more I can say about this restaurant. Uber cool. Great decor. Amazing ingredients. Perfect technique. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Italy.

Although it was very difficult to find availability at Seta, we managed to book for lunch and had very high expectations about this restaurant.

We ordered two dishes of Pasta, and Chicken for two.

Everything started bad when we were offered two complimentary welcome dishes, and my wife found a piece from a plastic bag in hers.

The crab farfale, my wife's dish, tasted good but was a bit too salty. I had the spagetti with barley and it was dull.
As for the main plate, it was a chicken breast stuffed with Fois gras. Although the Chicken tasted good, you don't taste the Fois gras at all and the green sauce takes most of the taste.

It was overall a good restaurant, but didn't live up to our expectations which were maybe too high as we're used to try michelin stars restaurants in every city we go to. .

The chef came to enquire if we were satisfied, which I really appreciated. He received my feedbacks very humbly, and offered us two complimentary desserts, although we didn't plan to have one. We were also not charged the first pasta dishes wich I thank him for.
