I was lucky to find this little gem during my last visit to Milan. I have visited it 4-5 times for lunch and dinner. You can either sit in (they have 4 tables) or have a take-away. Menu combines the finest classic Italian dishes and Sicilian specialties. I’ve tried few kinds of lasagna, parmigiana alla melanzane, arrosto di vitello, gnocchi alla Romana, vitello tonnato, pasta al forno, arancini, frito misto, trippa, cannollo (to name a few) - and everything was delicious. It is also a great deal in terms of price: you can have starter, main dish, dessert and soft drink for less than 10 euro.
The place is cozy, in a nice neighbourhood, away from hustle of the city centre, but easily accessible: it is a 3 min walk away from the metro station (Bande Nere or Gambara). Owners are the nicest people who make you feel welcome.
I wish they could expand to have bigger sitting area - this place truly deserves to be enjoyed and discovered by more people.
