The neighbourhood is not great, it is not very close to the city centre and there is not much to do in the area. We have checked in only late in the evening, so decided to walk around to find a restaurant in the area to have dinner in. It turned out to be quite tricky, because there were only a few cafes and they were all already occupied. We ended taking pizza on the go. However, the location has its perks, since the subway is very close, and there is also a nice gelateria and Esselunga shop nearby.
The place itself is nice and clean, though rather small for a three people, as there is only the main room (which is at the same time the kitchen and a place where the third person sleeps on a couch), a bedroom and a bathroom. There is only one closet, which is not very convenient when you need to get dressed. Apart from that, no cleaning service is available, so you have to take out the garbage by yourselves during the stay.
The female receptionist who let us in was very helpful and gave us plenty of advices about the neighbourhood. In general, the impression is alright, though when I am the one who picks a place to stay, I prefer something closer to Milano Centrale and Rue Buenos Aires.
Feels like home as this apartment is fully equipped. Location wise, it is just a 5mins walking to Lambrate train station. Be prepared that this property has no housekeeping service, which means you have to clean your own room and bed everyday. I felt that the owner should at least provide their tenants with some mineral/bottle water.
Overall, we are happy with our stay at this property.
