If you are visiting Milan then this is the hotel to stay at, just across the toad from the Main Milan train station so no expensive cabs required from the airport - A great location, Fantastic service and if it’s good enough for the Tottenham team it’s good enough for me

This 5-star hotel is awesome and quiet. The price is reasonable, it is totally worth it. If you want luxury, this is the place. Beautiful marbles, chandeliers, façade, lightings, furnitures, leathers are everywhere, A complimentary chauffeur driven Maserati is available from/to hotel to/from the city center. The swimming pool access is complimentary and it has beautiful design as well. Ms. Jesenska is also helpful and generous in fulfilling our needs. The room and bathroom is very stylish. The housekeepers are very clean and have great attention to detail. They are very tidy and neat. They even fold your clothes. It is like you have your own personal assistance at the hotel. We have stayed in many other 5-star hotels in Europe and America, so far Excelsior’s housekeepers are the best. They are truly an asset of the company, they deserve a raise or an appreciation. I hope the company realize that. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Overall, the hotel staff are friendly, as well as the restaurant staff. They all have high level quality of service and perfection. The location is very strategic, really close to the central train station. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. We would one day come back and visit the hotel again.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed. Great location close to Central station. Hotel is located in a pretty old historical building but inside it looks like it was built or renovated yesterday. Big rooms and excellent room service. One thing hotel misses is lack of options for lunch. A lot of dining options tho.

Dear 'Ivan D'

Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your experience.

We are truly happy to read how impressed you were by the beauty of our Hotel and that you enjoyed the comfort of our rooms as well as the Room Service.

A part from In-room dining, we provide our Guests with few options for lunch - Bar Gallia located on the ground floor and the Restaurant with A la carte menu or Business Lunch menu, available from Monday to Friday, as well as Bar Terrazza Gallia located on the seventh floor.
On Sundays, the Restaurant Terrazza Gallia gives the opportunity to Guests to experience a menu dedicated to the tradition of a typical 'Italian Sunday Lunch'.

We are however sorry if our proposals did not entirely meet your expectations and we appreciate you sharing with us your opinion.

It has been a pleasure to have you as our Guest and we hope to welcome you back soon.

Kind regards,

Marco Olivieri

We stayed at this 5 star property during a short layover in Milan. It is convenient to the Metro, train and about 20 minutes from Linate airport. The rooms were large with comfortable beds and linens. The bathroom was good size and the shower excellent. As expected in a hotel of this caliber the service was superb. There complimentary limo service to the center of town. Their bar is expensive but offers a fine outdoor area and view of the Central train station and its plaza.
Be careful of the trolley that runs behind the hotel. Its noise can be troubling.

Room tip: Stay away from the rear of the hotel where you can hear the trolley.

The hotel is fairly new so the facilities are in excellent condition. No argument of the location, convenient to the main train station. But there is very little interaction of the staff with us. No greetings, no nod of acknowledgement, not a care to know if you are having a good or bad time. Saw the concierge at his desk only one morning of our 5 day stay. The only one that remembers your name is the hostess at the breakfast since you see her everyday to give your name and room number. Otherwise everyone is there to just to do their assigned job. You can walk in and out of the hotel and wonder if anyone cares who you are. No experience, just a room in a new hotel. The omelet cook at breakfast needs to be changed, consistently overcooks and burns the eggs. Otherwise the selections at breakfast good but changes very little so after 3 or 4 mornings, didn't look forward to it. Was a good experience to at least try this luxury property. You may have a better experience.

Dear 'alank1101',

Thank you very much for taking time to share your review.

Although we are glad to read your compliments about our facilities and our location, we are sorry that you did not feel looked after by our colleagues. It is extremely important to us to make our Guests feel welcomed by nurturing warm and caring attitude of our colleagues throughout the Hotel. We are therefore very concerned to read that we fell short of the standards we set to ourselves and have shared your comments with the relevant department heads.

Our buffet breakfast with its vast variety of fresh produce as well as cooked options is something we are particularly proud off hence we are sorry that towards the end of your stay you did not find it 'attractive' and we apologize if the quality of omelet was not up to your expectations.

Thank you once again for providing your feedback and we nevertheless hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on another occasion.

Kind regards,

Marco Olivieri
