Modern facility. Room was clean and modern. Bathroom was very nice but very small. Hit my knee a couple of times while trying to close door. Window is large and very heavy and very difficult to open. Have to open from top, pulling down, like a cantilevered mechanism. Good location near Cadorna train station and lots of shopping and restaurants and across from the church housing the Last Supper by DaVinci. One issue was staff. Very cold, impersonal, not very welcoming. Breakfast was ok and again no staff to be found attending to guests. Cold, modern, efficient. Not my idea of Italy!

Having come from a modern hotel in London my family were at first sight disappointed, but the style and surroundings more than made them fall in love with the palazzo. The position was fabulous for Cenacolo obviously but also accessible to all of Milan via metro, tram, train and bus. the ATM bus passes offer excellent value and can even be used for any 24 hours which you can maximise if you are clever. The wifi was not very good but that is to be expected at a budget hotel, the breakfast was varied and most people should be able to find something they like, but the coffee wasn't very hot, I don't know if this is an Italian thing to not have coffee steaming. Planning my next trip to Italy.

Stayed for three nights on a business trip. Good location in the heart of Milan next to the Da Vinci Last Supper museum. Interesting building. Serviceable but very small room. OK I know it's Europe, but sometimes I felt like I was an airplane. Could barely open my laptop on the narrow desk. Fine if you just need "a place to stay".

Lovely building, great location. Beautiful old building in a busy conference venue. Our room was a good size and had a nice view. We slept well in clean sheets. However so many of the fittings looked shabby - the bathroom especially where the plumbing dated back a long long time, for example the shower hose over the bath was too short so kinked off when attached to the only shower attachment. The shower screen was broken and fell apart in my hands. Toilet and taps etc had long lost their sparkle. The strong light fitting in our room had lost its lampshade and was too bright to look at, showed up the stains on the carpet. Breakfast was limited in terms of choice - only one kind of bread roll, one kind of cheese and one ham (all poor quality) no plain yoghurt, no butter available that we could find. Reception Staff were business like but we didn't get many smiles on check in or departure. All felt rather uncared for and unloved. Shame because it could be an absolute gem.
