Milanese people think they have a deal: they get the best Mediterranean fresh fish in the country as they pay the highest price for it.
Indeed, many fish restaurants in Milan serve quite good fish, indeed they charge as much as they can get away with for it , and indeed we have been happy to let them get away with quite high prices.
While most exceptions in town are to the first side of the deal - sure enough, less than very good fish - this is a welcome and uncommon exception to the second side: good fish, very well prepared and nicely served, with medium prices I personally regard as very, very fair.
Raw and cooked fish is good, and the special flavours plates receive makes them surprisingly so. We found especially good marinated anchovies, different, more meaty and lighter flavoured than even the best ones we tried before.
All flavours, including few simple, good desserts are from Sardinia, as is the hospitality of management.
