We booked this place because it has a garden (enclosed, no view but cute) and because it serves a fresh changing menu of slightly unusual dishes, including some vegetarian choices. Unfortunately on the night we visited the vegetarian choices focused on goat’s cheese (which I don’t eat) - so if you are a fussy eater like me you might want to ring ahead and check the daily menu. We thought the food overall (both vegetarian and meat) was interesting but a bit hit and miss. For the record, borage soup is a bad idea! Other dishes were much more successful. A great choice for those who are tired of the same old tourist menu and willing to splash out.

We went to the restaurant based on the suggestion of our concierge and tripadvisor reviews. Restaurant is clearly popular with locals and ambiance is great (in the garden). However, the standard of the food was somewhat below our expectation and the price-tag. The antipasti and risotto were excellent, however, our pigeon meat was salty and too smokey (felt like it was somewhat burnt). We got way better foods in so many restaurants in Italy in much less price than this. The dessert was good but not fabulous for Italian standard. The service is great and attentive.

Charming restaurant with outdoor seating. From the street it looks tiny and not very inviting. But when you have entered and found your way through a narrow corridor you will find a inviting place to eat.
We tried their duck liver patee which was good, and their canneloni with clams, mozzarella and vegetables. Very good indeed.

La Brisa is a secluded spot, perfect for those seeking a more authentic Milanese meal. Not on the tourist trail but busy with local diners, this restaurant offers excellent food and wine choice with beautiful outside dining option in private courtyard. The set menu offers a tasty selection or the main menu has plenty to choose from too. Service is friendly and attentive.

After a week in Turin and Milan, we have had wonderful meals every night. But this night was special. And surprising. The restaurant is a hundred yards down an obscure street with and obscure entrance. So we were delighted about what was hidden here. A lovely classy restaurant with great food. It appeared to be mainly patronized by well dressed locals, not the tourist crowd. We felt a bit underdressed, but weren’t treated that way. Service was fine. Food was quite good. The waiter upsold us on a more expensive bottle of wine than we said was our budget, and it was indeed as good as he suggested, but be prepared to hold your budget line if that’s important to you. Ambiance is superb, with half the restaurant in an outdoor private courtyard. Ask to sit outside if you want. Our hotel concierge made the reservation and either didn’t ask, or outside was full. It’s a very impressive place to spend an evening!
