This is a well furnished and fully equipped apartment. A little bit on the small side for four persons but adequate. We were disappointed that there was no wi-fi despite the advert stating that this would be available; we found this out after the booking but decided to make do. The other disappointing factor was that we had thought that the apartment would be closer to the historical centre than it really is. This false impression was given by the map on the advert. The apartment is, in fact, situated well away from the centre. The walk from the apartment to the castle was almost 3 miles.
The apartment itself is one of a group of four, with its own front verandah area and upstairs balcony. In September it was quite private but in the height of summer I can imagine it being overlooked by several other nearby apartments. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a four ring gas cooker. The manager, Antonella, is very charming and helpful and we were surprised by the welcome gift of wine and biscuits. She also left us some delicious home made marmalade. There is a car parking space in front of the block and I would recommend that you have a car for this place. There is a car park very near to the centre, just past the hotel La Paul, which allows you to park for free for three hours. The furnishings are fairly dated. All in all I would recommend the apartment but I wish I had paid a little bit more for a better one. We stayed six nights.
