A cozy hotel and a warm welcome. Clean room, bathroom and a delicious breakfast.

The room was big, antique and felt like I was visiting my relatives.

During the breakfast, the owner asked us if we want other kind of breakfast than the one already available.

The hotel is not in the center of the town, but is close.

During our travel to Italy we had a first stay at this B&B? Nice authentic rooms with a good breakfast in the morning to start your day with. We also received some good recommendations for a restaurant to eat at night. But the B&B has also has a very nice restaurant which is also popular by local residents.

This stay was the last we booked on our five night, six day tour of the major Italian lakes. We'd agonised about where to stay while trying to balance cost with quality as usual and we settled on this as we were only staying one night at Lake Como. What a mistake that was! Both of us have come back home with a crush on Lake Como but we've fallen head over heels love and are completely smitten by Alla Torretta B&B.

It's located up in the hills above the lakeside resort of Bellagio so it's not easy to get to and from but the standard of accommodation, the view and most of all, the welcome you get far outweighs that inconvenience. Corrado and Sara are the most welcoming and friendly hosts you could ever wish for. We were given an entire one bedroom apartment in the second building which was spectacular. It seemed ridiculous for just one night but I didn't resist! I could quite happily live there permanently.
Corrado offered to take us down to the town which we accepted although we felt a little guilty. His wife Sara, ended up taxiing is and also insisted she pick us up when we were ready! Incredible!
Breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate and again, Corrado couldn't do enough to please us.
Our experience has left us feeling that we will certainly return in future for a longer visit.

We fell in love with the property, the garden, the view and most of all - the hosts.

This old school charm B&B has truly something magical to it!

Their restaurant is very nice as well - simple, down to earth and inexpensive, but very tasty, cheerful and authentic. Not to be missed!

We only stayed here 2 nights. The villa is absolutely pristine. It's furnished with period antiques. Owned, by an incredibly warm, friendly, and hard working family. It has a large play area in the back for families with children. There is their restaurant, Pizzeria, that is always full of locals. It was delicious. Guests of the villa will always have a table. They speak English, which was a plus. The villa is a few hundred years old, so the walls are thin. It is above the town, which looks beautiful at night. From our balcony we heard the many church bells beckoning on Sunday morning.
