Antico Uliveto is a great place to stay in Bellagio. The property is in an Olive Grove on a hill above the town. The Agnelli family are great hosts who made us very welcome and kindly gave us some gifts of food, including some of their own Extra Virgin Olive Oil, fruit from the garden and fresh eggs from their own chickens. Bellagio is a pleasant 20 minute walk but when the weather is hot, I'd recommend the bus back (the Lecco bus stops in Visgnola), a few minutes from the property. The views to the lake are amazing and can be enjoyed sitting on the terrace
Absolutely one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed. Everything perfect! The views of Lake Como from our apartment were breathtaking.
We stayed in here for 6 nights at the start of our trip through Italy. Valentina and her brother were very kind and welcoming, dropping in to deliver us unexpected gifts of fresh fruit and pastries throughout our stay.
The apartment is well located, about a 20-30min walk from Bellagio town centre, or a short 5min drive if you leave early enough to find a park. Don't wait until lunchtime to attempt this as they will all be taken.
The apartment overlooks a small herb garden with a view across the lake and is above a little olive grove that you are free to walk down and explore. There are chairs and a table in the garden which is the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon coffee.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be recommending it to any family and friends visiting this part of Italy.
We stayed 8 days, and enjoyed every moment. Communication was excellent, and made for a stress free holiday. The location is beautiful, with awe inspiring views. The apartment is clean, and well equipped. Valentina and Daniele were perfect hosts. We especially loved the wine cellar, fresh morning figs and Mama's cake. It is close by a bakery, and bar for coffee. There is also a village grocery. Overall, the best vacation rental we have ever had.
We stayed here for 4 nights and it felt like home. The home owners were amazing and very gracious. The views were beautiful and we were able to make dinner and enjoy it on the patio. There is a market and bakery that are very close. We did not have a car so we walked into town and back. There is a tourist train that we used one of the days to get us close to our house. I really liked that we did not stay right in town. It was quiet, the views incredible. We were able to relax and enjoy our time. This is a great place to stay.
