this is definitely more than a 2 star hotel. There was nothing we could fault with this hotel. The staff were all friendly, warm and couldnt do enough to help you. Breakfasts were lovely and catered for everyone. Meats, cheeses, croissants, toast, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, tea, coffee, fruit juices. Use of the outdoor pool at Bellagio Sporting Village was a definite asset. The lunches there were lovely and reasonably prices. The hotel's location is very central, directly opposite the landing platform for the boats. Our room was serviced daily and all areas of the hotel were clean and tidy, The thing that struck us the most, was the friendly staff and the fact that they all seemed to enjoy their work and wanted to know you rather than have you as a guest. Would thoroughly recommend

This hotel offers a great location, friendly staff and good value for money. The breakfast was fresh with coffees made to order. A very special mention to Jane and Luca who made our stay extra special. The 38 steps up from the lakeside were not a problem, but should be noted. All in all a great stay in a beautiful part of the world.

Room tip: We were left with the last room (Room 207). This room is quite dark and has no views, apart from the wall of the adjacent building.

Loved this accommodation that had excellent service. Great, clean, comfortable rooms. Location easy to walk around Bellagio and close to ferry to visit other towns on lake Como. Breakfast provided was good but did not get chance to visit their pool etc as this was located away from hotel.

Nice smallish hotel 2 mins walk from the main ferry port and the hub of just about everything in Bellagio. Room was small but adequate, with nice view, small balcony and thankfully good aircon (it was 36 degrees). Staff were pleasant and helpful. Nice continental breakfast on the patio. Only downside here are a number of stairs to navigate with luggage from the street to the hotel door. The staff will offer to help if you need it. Hotel lift is painfully slow too...make sure you're not in a hurry or use the stairs if not moving luggage. Would recommend an upper floor room.

We stole the title from the previous reviewer, as we couldn't agree more. We enjoyed three lovely nights at the hotel and couldn't fault it. Rooms were perfectly adequate, very helpful and friendly staff, great view across the lake from our balcony and a terrific location. We were very happy with our booking and would highly recommend the hotel.

Room tip: Book a lake view room - you will not regret it.
