Absolutely gorgeous hotel with very courteous and friendly staff. Stayed five nights in May for a conference and was extremely pleased with the quality and standards offered. The room was very spacious, clean and fully equipped with all amenities needed. The complimentary buffet breakfast had a very large selection and was very good indeed. Food and drinks in the restaurants was exceptional. Hotel attendants were always willing to lend any assistance and gave advice on places to visit and good restaurants outside of the hotel. The grounds were always well manicured and absolutely stunning. Hotel overlooks the sea and sitting on the balcony looking at the sun rise or set is truly priceless! Definately worth the price!

Room tip: Get a sea view room with a balcony.

As they say: "you get what you pay for". The Grand Hotel Miramare was exactly that. The staff were marvelous, the rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and they had great bathroom and shower facilities. The American bar & lounge is a very pleasant way to end an evening, the Hot Toddy is fantastic relief for a cold!
One negative is the lingering cigarette stench in our room on the 2nd floor, which seemed to be drifting from the staff quarters next door.

Spent 7 nights here, booked through Kirker Holidays. Welcoming staff, smartly dressed and competent without being condescending. Concierge team specially good. Most comfortable hotel bed I have used in many years. Spacious room, plenty of storage for clothes, good size bathroom. We found a complimentary bottle of wine and basket of fruit waiting for us, which was really welcome after a long journey
Private beach across road and own large pool in grounds.
Superb breakfasts (wide choice from buffet, efficient staff on hand to provide tea, coffee, etc. V. good scrambled eggs (one of my tests a good hotel kitchen!). Busy road between hotel and beach but sound-proofing excellent (air-con a bit cold but not a major issue). View from the room was huge - sea and mountains. Bougainvillea restaurant rather pricey but good food; town has plenty of excellent family-run restaurants doing good food at low (to UK) prices.
Frequent buses to Portofino pass hotel, also linking with train station (good services to Genoa and Cinque Terra villages).

We spent three nights there and enjoyed it very much even though the weather was rather bad at times. But the hotel is beautiful with a wonderful pool area that overlooks the sea. The room was spacious and well equipped and the staff was very nice and helpful. We would like to come back

This is a fine hotel - from the moment you view the frontage & are welcomed by the professional & attentive staff, to the moment you sample the fine cuisine in the dining room, you cannot fail to appreciate this elegant hotel.
The sea view room was stunning, with a breathtaking panorama.
As expected from a hotel with this status, it is spotlessly clean with highly professional, friendly & well trained staff - service was impeccable in all areas of the hotel.
The food was magnificent - the breakfast really delicious & dinner was a real treat.
I would definitely stay here again & recommend it to anyone who enjoys elegant surroundings - it's a real treat to stay here.

Room tip: Sea view rooms offer a stunning panorama
