If you are looking for some original food experience in Genova this is the right place. Very nice food in a traditional place news the harbor. Don't expect a fancy interior, but a truly authentic cuisine. The service was very nice and the very welcoming to our kids who even brought their bikes into the restaurant.

We visited here to try farinata as it sounds so good! It didn't disappoint. The food was tasty and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was great even though it was pretty early in the day. Would definitely go back, especially to try their pesto! They had basil sitting out on every table which was a lovely touch.

Join the Genovese and some tourists for a serving of a a chick pea pancake, in addition to the traditional Genovese offerings. A restaurant that could only be in Genova, it is so special and local.

This place is only open between 12 and 2 for lunch. Get there early and soak up the tradition. It is not a tourist destination. Full of locals and they queue down the street to get in some days. Delicious food. The farinata is amazing! So good we went twice.

We had lunch there on a day visit to Genoa - we got there at 12-30 and it was already pretty full and by 1pm there was a line. Mainly locals and not tourists but the menu is available in English
The farinata is great - you can see it being cooked in the wood fired oven. We also had gnocchi with pesto and oven baked octopus with salad. The food is great and very reasonably priced.
It is very atmospheric - white tiles, oven at the front and bustling staff. I saw it mentioned in an article on good in Genoa and it is a perfect spot for lunch when exploring the old town.
