Centrally located in Riomaggiore, the Southeastern-most village in Cinque Terre, GiGi's place was the perfect launching point to a great four-day visit. The front door to the building opens onto the main street literally less than 50 feet to a very friendly grocer, several bars and restaurants, and about another 100 feet to the Train station entrance. The apartment had powerful internet, a fully appointed gourmet kitchen, large TV, beautiful outdoor terrace, and was clearly designed and decorated by a loving family who enjoys spending time together. Seldom is reality better than the photos, but this was one of those special times! Will highly recommend to all visiting Cinque Terre.
The flat was great - well-decorated and lots of charm, spacious, clean and central. It was miles better than the other flat we stayed in Vernazza (both in terms of price and amenities). We were also given a free bottle of wine and it's worth noting that the flat is well-stocked with cooking condiments etc if you're interested in preparing food.
Luigi was very responsive by email and Gianluca who met us at the train station was helpful and gave us recommendations for food etc.
Would definitely stay here again if I visited Cinque Terre again!
This was a lovely, lovely apartment. Of all the places in Italy this had the most character and most nicely set-up with the host gifting us a bottle of wine. It is not too far up the hill from the train station. Communication with our host was great and his contact person Gianluca was extremely helpful, helping us getting a reservation outside in one of the restaurants on the port.
