“Great Rental with Great View!”

My husband and I rented this apartment with another couple. Both couples are in their early sixties. The apartment is exactly as shown. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, with a wonderful deck that looks out over the town and the sea.
The place was clean and well kept.
This apartment is located at the top of the village which means a good walk uphill with lots of stairs!. Then their are four flights of stairs to reach apartment. However well worth the effort. The view is spectacular!

We found the town of Manarola a great place to stay. It is busy during the day with daytrippers, but quiet at night. The townspeople were friendly and helpful. Train service is great to to all 5 towns in Cinque Terra. Each town in Cinque Terra had its own flavor and well worth exploring through hiking and by train.

Liked best: The layout of the apartment and the great balcony deck.

“Amazing view...worth the hike!”
Reviewed 12 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

The apartment in Manorola was excellent.
The very long walk uphill dragging our suitcases on a very hot day was well worth the effort when we walked out onto the terrace and saw the view. Arbaspa, the tour company, was great
. We had an issue with the in wall hair dryer and they immediatly gave us a replacement portable one. The air conditioning was not all that great given the heat and humidity but leaving the terrace doors open seemed to work at keeping things comfortable. The apartment has 2 lovely bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice kitchen but there is no actual living room ......the living room is really the terrace. The kitchen could use a few basic amenities; an actual coffee maker (not a pod that makes 2 oz of espresso), salt and pepper and maybe some olive oil.
We took the all day sailing tour of the Cinque Terra region (booked through Arbaspa) and really enjoyed it. Be aware though that you need to get to the port in a nearby town to take this tour. Allow yoursefl time ......if you are taking the train it is about a half hour walk from the station.
All in all a wonderful stay in beautiful Manarola!

“Fabulous views from this charming flat”

Our favourite part of staying in this great little apartment was by far and away sitting out on the porch in the sun looking out over the rooftops of Manarola with a glass of wine and canapes. So amazing!

Otherwise the flat itself was great, clean with a modern feel to the interior and pretty spacious bedrooms for Europe. The aircon worked great as well, and the kitchen was well kitted out for a short stay.

Be warned, in return for the amazing view, you are staying in the top most apartment in a building that's already at the top of the hill - so there are a lot of stairs involved. But totally worth it!

We were only there 2 nights, but would definitely recommend getting a flat in Manarola even for a short stay, as it nice to get away from the tourist crowds down in the centre of the village next to the train station.

“Absolutely Perfect!”

The best part of this rental is the gorgeous view from the large balcony. The apartment was very clean. The beds & pillows were comfortable. Yes, it is a long steep walk from the train station, but if you are in average shape, it is a beautiful walk. We visited all of the Cinque Terre and Manarola was our favourite town. Da Billy's at the bottom of the stairs was our favourite restaurant through all of our 3 weeks in Italy. The food is so good, the prices are decent for Italy & our waiter was so much fun! No regrets at all on booking this place or visiting the Cinque Terre!

“Great views and functional”

I recently stayed here for 6 nights with my wife and 16 year old daughters, we arrived quite late at night and were met by the friendly Stefan who guided us to the property, When we awoke in the morning and stepped onto the terrace we were blown away with the view, it was amazing watching Manarola come to life. The property was clean and functional and the beds comfortable. It is well worth the climb I think I counted about 200+ steps from the town centre, but the majority of these can be avoided by going a different route past the church. All in all we spent many hours on the terrace watching daily life go by would highly recommend staying here .
