There is no reception desk, we got there and the was tape on the #10 door and it said "Keys are in the flower pot". Also the room key had the #1 on it, so I went searching through the whole complex for room #1. After carrying 2 heavy pieces of luggage, a backpack and a 4th bag around my neck around this whole complex looking for room #1, I got back to the original patio and frustratingly shouted if anyone knew where room #1 was. A local man basically used sign language to explain that Room #1 was behind the #10 door and sure enough I opened room #10 and rooms 1 and 2 were behind it. Also for a bed and breakfast, there is no breakfast. Hotel is a disaster and Italian service is atrocious.

I spent hours luxuriating on the terrace, drinking in the rhapsodic view of the Ligurian Sea. Picnicking by day and relaxing before the moonlit vista by night. It doesn't get much better than that. My room was bright, breezy and pristine, and the iron frame bed was a delight. Wifi was problematic, and as someone else pointed out, Corniglia is noisier than one might anticipate, with chatter from tourists dining al fresco and children playing soccer late into the evening. But that too could be considered part of the charm.

Room Tip: If you stay in room #1, you get a lovely private balcony to boot.

If you are looking for a place to relax with a beautiful view, this is not the place. I feel bad to start a review with these words but this is unfortunately our conclusion of La Torre.

We are a young couple, never complained before. When we booked this place we dint expect to be just in front of a children playground where approximately 15 kids play until midnight every night.

We booked the room via AirBnb. When we asked to cancel our booking or to get a similar room in the area we were told that we should not cancel the booking ourselves and that we will be contacted within 24h which never happened. Also, I never got an option to review this accommodation on Airbnb site.

We did found a way to avoid the noise by leaving the room for dinner after 9pm and coming back around midnight. Also waking up very early helps to enjoy the breakfast in silence with a great view.

Considering the rest, the host is very nice, the room is spacious, well equipped, great view...the wifi didnt work the whole stay.

Room Tip: If you dont mind the noise, good place to stay.

We stayed one night. The owner came and met us in the main square, we would never have found it otherwise. Corniglia is an experience! The room we had did have air-con, and the small terrace must be the highest in the town, so great views. The square below and play area, volleyball court, can make it noisy.

As with a previous review, we did not find a great restuarant, some we did not like the look of or owners attitude, others were fully booked. The food we had was ok, nothing great, although for breakfast, lunch or snack the Wine Bar and Garden opposite the dire pizza place (avoid) and scooter parking was refreshingly good and if you go there you will not be disappointed. Local wine with cheese and honey, great.
