This trattoria is tiny, so you need to make a reservation in advance if you want to secure a great seafood experience. We both had marinated sardines with onions, (alici in savor) and a very generous first course each, one home made spaghetti alle vongole with cherry tomatoes (very tasty) whlst I had a superb gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and prawns, unforgettable. A nice bottle of affordable prosecco (good wine choice) and a couple of home made desserts for approx. 35€ each, absolutely worth the trip.
They have an open kitchen, you can see all the proceedings + it is usually a guarantee for quality and cleanliness (that includes the spotless bathroom). Excellent service too, all customers looked happy and I will definitely go back if we visit Trieste again.
