If you lower your gaze from the walls and the ceiling towards the waitresses and the food, you will have an amazing time in this small and intimate classical Italian restaurant. I can still have nightmares from the realization that there are decorators out there running free with this level of severe tastelessness. I turn to Gaudi in those dark hours.
To my soul's comfort most of the food held top class; the fried calamari and octopus with mozarella especially. Probably the best versions of those creatures I've ever eaten. The tuna with polenta was dull but not bad, and the pasta with shrimps and pesto was really good however not to die for.
The service; the warmth and hospitality from the two hard working yet relaxed waitresses made the visit something really extra. And the complimentary grappa after the meal was just the thing that turned this visit from the foundation of haunted sleep to an adventure leaving one scarred but rewarded in the end.
Would definitely come here again.
