Not really high gastronomy level but top quality italia. products and generous plates with typical local flavors. Meat is their specialty and it's a pleasure to watch them working. We had the cheese plate, picorino variations, delicious. Some pasta and a good sicilian wine. For around 50 bucks. A bargain. Very good adress. Very busy place so it's better to book.

Tiresia was recomanded to us by our hotel, whom told us that this is the best food that you can find in Rimini. We went there on monday and it was closed so we tried again on tuesday. The location is very big and has a beautiful terrace, the waitress that served us was a very nice lady and it didn t take long to get us the food. The bad things about Tiresia are the flavor of the food, the pasta were so salty that we could barly eat it and they also have a big mosquito problem, i have like 50 mosquito bites on my legs after eating at Tiresia.

It was recommended by the concierge at our hotel as a top restaurant, so we got him to book it for our party of five, with a table in the garden area.
We knew that it was primarily a meat-centered place, and, being Scots, we are used to enjoying good steak.
On arriving, we were surprised by the size of it, as we were shown through to the garden area, The setting was lovely with a play area for kids, which is a nice touch.
The tables filled up very quickly and it looked as if everyone had booked for 20.00 like us.
We heard the church bell adjacent to it chime on the quarter hour, which was unusual. We heard it chime a lot more that night!
Bluntly, the service was so laid-back that it verged on comatose.
The couple of old guys who were serving (who may be the owners) didn't make any real effort to get things going quickly.
We eventually got our order of crostata and gnocchi starters followed by Fiorentina steaks taken.
The crostata, when they arrived, were good, but the gnocchi weren't that great. We preferred some house red and white wine, and that didn't last until the steaks eventually arrived some considerable time later. Now I see that some reviewers have gone into raptures about the meat served here, and I can only say that it was just okay! It certainly wasn't the tastiest that I've every had by any stretch. The grilled vegetables that came with it were disappointing and some were tougher than the steaks!
By now, that bloody bell had almost worn itself out, and we had been there close to three hours by the time we paid the, not inconsiderable, bill of around €200.
All in all, we were rather disappointed with our dining experience and kind of felt that the place and its owners were just going through the motions rather than trying to ensure that diners had a good time.

It's mostly a restaurant for meat lovers, but also the pasta is wonderful and (be careful) VERY big portions!
We were there for dinner and we took a portion of pasta for each of us. For second, we ordered pork costata.
Everything was excellent, but it was too much for us, so if you are not or very hungry or a person who is eating a lot, it's better if you take a portion of each course and you divide between you.

Alot has been done to restore this restaurant and keep it in the old style - they have succeeded! We liked it so much the first night that we went for seconds on the next evening!!! The second time we chose to have a 900gm T-bone steak, rare.....and yes, that is too much for one person but they sliced it before serving and the 4 of us ate it! The waitress suggested this and the meal was served with salad and potatoes "family style" - as was the steak which was then presented to us on a serving dish placed in the middle of the table decorated by flowering rosemary. If you are in Rimini - this is a must go!!
