Nice, clean, comfortable room, when you step out the hotel you can see Bolonese gastronomy stores along the street. Delicious and attractive food windows. Very much close to Piazza Maggiore. Being in this hotel makes you sense as if you are living in Bologna.

Nice hotel, centrally located in the historic area of downtown Bologna. Room was comfortable and well appointed, although toiletries were not replaced when the room was cleaned. The two women at the front desk were kind and very helpful with info and dinner reservations. My major complaint was with the gentleman who checked us out on our last morning. He refused to honor my American Express credit card for payment, even though they used it to guarantee the room, and my printed receipt clearly stated they took Amex. As I was leaving for the airport, I didn't have time to argue. It definitely was an unpleasant ending to what was otherwise a pleasant stay.

Was in town to meet up with my daughter who is attending the University. Hotel is centrally located in town, making it easy to get around. My room was very small but was adequate for my needs. I loved opening the window so I could hear all the sounds from the businesses below. Woke in the morning to sounds of the markets getting set up for business. The staff was very friendly. I didn't have a chance to check out the breakfast as I left early the next day. My only complaint was the size of the shower. It was very small making it hard to get into and move around.

We arrived from the train station and were immediately enchanted with the location of this lovely hotel. It is in the heart of the historic district and is abuzz with activity, delicious bakeries, a florist and great shopping. The staff was accommodating, helpful and kind. We had a fantastic room on the second floor overlooking the small street below. There are stairs and an elevator in the building. Our room was great - spacious, clean and quiet with plenty of closet space and a large bathroom. When the french doors were open you could hear all the wonderful sounds below, but when it was closed it was remarkably quiet. Our double bed was comfortable. We chose not to include breakfast because the minute you walk out the door of the Drapperie you have so many choices of bakeries, cafes, coffee bars to choose from. This hotel is in a perfect location for everything - historic sites, restaurants, shopping, gelato and small markets! We loved staying at Albergo Drapperie and will be returning customers next time we visit Bologna.
