We stayed for 2 nights. It was not an expensive hotel It was situated in a back street, rather tawdry entrance to hotel, surrounded by graffiti clad buildings Our room was ready early, and we crammed into the lift to get to Room 306. After a very compact room in Florence, we welcomed the larger room with ample space to move around in . The view from room was of rooftops and aerials. We soon discovered that the hotel had very poor soundproofing, hearing conversations from numerous guests during our stay, at all hours. It was noted that the hotel has done some recent renovations, new lino on floors. Shower was big, but the fittings were horrible and so dated. Thin plastic cups on bathroom shelves.... Outside our room by the lift was an interesting design feature..carpet on the wall. You had to pay for your Internet, and this was the only time in our 3 week holiday that we were asked to pay The breakfast was average, room quite tight for guests to move around in..make your own coffee with beverage bar. Again those cheap plastic cups for your cold drink in the morning Location in the town was good for getting about to museums, shopping, sights, restaurants. There was a large supermarket just a few minutes walk from hotel, which was useful. There was a fridge in the room. If you know where you are going , the hotel is a 15 to 20 minute walk from the Railway Station
