Very good hotel, clean, perfect location Bologna downtown, quite close to the train station too (5mins by taxi). Restaurant on the ground floor, very good food . Hotel and restaurant service very good.

This hotel was everything we hoped and was exactly what we wanted to enable us to have a great 4 night break in beautiful Bologna.

Location was unbeatable, just off Piazza Maggiore and walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go, yet still reasonably peaceful. Gracious staff in both the reception and breakfast room/Osteria, and whilst we never saw them the housekeeping staff kept everything spotless morning and night, in our room and all the common areas of the hotel, so all a credit to the hotel.

Our room, on the 2nd floor, was more than adequate in size, extremely comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe space and a pleasant bathroom. It was interestingly themed around an Italian musician, Cage, with great text explaining who he was, so we learnt something which was appreciated, plus we were pretty sure the foam type covering on the doors also represented the Diamond Palace in Ferrara where we visited on the train for a day (can recommend), and we loved how the hotel had kept such a local feel whilst still being boutique, friendly and efficient.

We enjoyed the breakfast, and felt the choice was good including boiled or scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage etc with plenty of fruit, yoghurts and bread to keep you going, as well as freshly made cappuccino which we really appreciated.

Great value, great location and a great hotel!

The location couldn't be better, smack in the middle of the old city, close to the main square and shopping streets.

The hotel is nicely furnished, done with taste. But the rooms and very small, with barely enough room for one person to move besides the bed.

Street noise, especially on Saturday went on until the early morning hours, and guests coming to their rooms were heard loud & clear in our room.

I highly recommend this hotel. Its location could not be more central or convenient. Both the public spaces and the rooms are immaculate, cheerful, pretty, and comfortable. At check-in one is welcomed warmly, and during one's stay the staff readily provide any assistance one might need. This was my first stay here, and I mean to return whenever my travels may bring me to Bologna.

We stayed here for three nights while visiting Bologna. Perfect location, right off the main piazza and close to all of the major attractions in the city. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was simple but served in the restaurant which was cool and boutique. Would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Bologna!
