As major foodies, we wanted a tour of Bologna's food producers that really took us off the beaten path and this did not disappoint with visits to family run DOP producers for Parmigiano Reggiano, balsamic vinegar and prosciutto. Alessandro, our host and guide is the perfect combination of energetic passion and great insider knowledge. As he likes to say - we met as guests and left as friends.
