Were staying at an apartment near this quaint cafe and though on a busy street corner, as another reviewer stated, it is surprisingly calm and a great place to destress after a day of sightseeing and have a drink/cafe, snack. Also good for breakfast.
We stopped here our first night in Rome (4 days there before our Mediterranean cruise) after seeing a happy hour sign and couldn't believe it....we got a glass of wine and a glass of prosecco for 5 eur each. Along with the drinks came a platter of breads with spreads, meat, olives, cheese & chips as the 'happy hour' treat. Got our bill and the total was 10 euros (not sure what the other reviewer meant by additional charge for table service).....best deal in Rome.
The only thing better than the wine and food was the service. The gentleman who waited on us all 3 nights we were there was so friendly and kind.
Would highly recommend this spot as well as the apartment we stayed at half a block away for only 99 euros a night.
