It had been too long since lunch and too early for dinner so, as our poor feet ached from the extensive walking around Rome, and as this was only next door to our hotel, we popped in for some bar food. My husband ordered a club sandwich which was, in his opinion, ‘ok’. I ordered a Fantasia salad (tuna and olives) 10 euros.
Oh my goodness! It was literally a full bag of ready washed salad leaves with a few manky bits of grated carrot - you could tell it wasn’t fresh because the carrot was really dry and slightly discoloured - THREE black un-pitted olives and what amounted to two tablespoons of tinned tuna in olive oil - 10 euros. And absolute disgrace!

We were in the mood for some Tiramisu and were checking out the menus outside of the restaurants, when the owner of this pub kind of kidnapped us. But they do have Tiramisu, a pretty good one as well. And the place is huge and beautiful and the waiters are really nice. And if you like soccer they life stream the events. We went there several times during our stay.

A pleasant and typical Irish pub which serves a large variety of local and imported beers. They also have a good variety of microbrewed beers. The food was OK and serves the purpose. They do have live music on some nights of the week, so if you are into Irish music then you may want to give it a try.

Good staff, great entrainment, good food reasonably priced well apart from the brownies at €10 but I guess you can’t have it all.
Great place to watch the football or any other sport on request.

Ireland won the Grand Slam on St Patrick’s Day whilst we were in Rome so we decided to celebrate at Flann O’Brien having watched the 6 Nations on their TV screens.
I can honestly say we had one of the most enjoyable evenings ever with a fantastic atmosphere and super friendly staff cranking up the music and putting up with all our high jinks. A special mention to our waiter Giovanni who was fantastic!
Food was one of the best meals we had whilst in Rome. Authentic Roman pizza and pasta.
I will definitely be returning to Flann O’Brien when I’m in Rome again!
