Staff were great. Gave us maps and offered umbrellas in case of rain. Breakfast had hot and cold options , with a good selection. Room had a city view with a sofa and frig. Very nice , very clean. They have a small left.

Great location if you want to be out of the touristic hustle and bustle
Opposite is the bus stops for all the hop on hop off buses
5 min walk to the train station
12 mins walk to trevi fountain and Spanish steps
The hotel itself is incredibly clean and the employees are very pleasant!
Variety of choice for breakfast - nice and clean, everything was super fresh
Modern rooms / bedroom and the drinks in the fridge are all free!!
Highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome!

This is a lovely boutique hotel conveniently located in the middle of many high profile tourist sites. The hotel is squeaky clean, rooms generously sized with a classic contemporary style, and staff very accommodating. The breakfast is very luxurious and was offered to us when we arrived at very early (9:00 am) to drop off our luggage which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is located in a building under renovation so the entrance is a bit dark. Access to the lift requires going up two steps which could limit use for a wheelchair customer.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking Santa Maria Maggiore - it's a beautiful view.

Again PBH was the beautiful, clean and welcoming home away from home. I always appreciate the non-touristic restaurant tips and the opportunity to enjoy a warm drink in the breakfast room late in the evening. The only problem this time was the aircon not working well. Will return.

Overall, the hotel was great! Affordable and close to Termini and Subway Stations, local shops, and great restaurants. The hotel was extremely clean as if it just opened. Our reservation included a nice breakfast offering scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, cereal, and an assortment of pastries. There was complimentary coffee and tea in the breakfast room all day. The entire staff was friendly, greeting you as you passed reception and always offered their assistance and guidance. They were always there if we needed them. For example, they offered umbrellas to us on days when it rained and the best and affordable travel advice when visiting sites and traveling to the airport.

The rooms are modern, clean and offer great views of the city skyline. It was refreshing having a window that opened too.

The actual hotel is on the 4th floor of a mixed residential/office building. It feels as if you are walking into an apartment building at first but once on the 4th floor, it feels just like a hotel with hotel amenities.

We would definitely return to Princeps when I return to Rome. It made our Honeymoon even more enjoyable!! I would recommend this hotel with no hesitation.
