This restaurant is very close to Ottaviano metro station but it is located in the very calm area of this district. Where are many locals here and the atmosphere is very nice. A Pizza is very thin and delicious, not so heavy but has a lot of ingredients. Also we took a beer and a desert. All was very good.

One could hardly argue that Rome is the ultimate food lover destination. Nico is the finest proof of that statement. Don't be fooled by the modest facade of the place. It is an honest to god Italian family restaurant frequented by the locals, which is a good sign by itself. I cannot but share this experience with the fellow travelers - The best pasta I've ever had in my entire existence. Regardless if it is a sophisticated Gorgonzola and vegetable pasta or modest though special Nico pasta, it is a cuisine masterpiece. I leave exploring pizza menu to you. Oh boy, you're in for a treat! It is with a warm heart that I recall our gracious host Mauricio and his uncanny gift for conveying the spirit of Rome by serving the best Italian food a weary traveler could hope for.

Can't go wrong here, ordered potato croquette appetizer, salad, pasta carbonara, carafe of house , all for about 16€ per person,
Excellent service, tasty food, crowded but speedy attentive service.
About 15 minute walk from Vatican, if you are in the "hood" give it a shot!

very humble, small, and absolutely Authentic. Wonderful thin crust pizza, done right! Wine is by the bottle, not the glass, but very reasonably priced. Good, chewy homemade pasta. When they didn't have dessert we wanted, they sent us on to another establishment. Warm service. Don't miss.

We had a lovely dinner one of the nights we were in Rome. It was close to the area we were staying, in Prati.
Our apartment owner had suggested this place and it was exactly what she told us.
Not a fancy place, small but honest home style Italian food.
We loved the pizzas and pastas.
The girl waiting our table was excellent and the owner saw to it that we ordered the right stuff.
The atmosphere might not be the best but go here for some authentic Italian food and great value for money.
