This little flat suited our purposes perfectly. We wanted to spend 10 days living in a neighborhood of central Rome. We were within walking distance of everything and just set out each day to explore another section of the city. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had lots of good travel books to browse through. It's on a higher floor but has a lift. We were met at the airport and taken to meet the caretaker and get the keys. There is some noise at night from the street but no more than in any big city. We appreciated the quick response from the owners while planning the trip and enjoyed being able to talk to them on the phone if we had questions.Campo de Fiore market is a few minutes walk and there are good restaurants all around. Roscioli! I hope we get to stay here again some day.
The flat is located in a wonderful unassuming, friendly area which gives you a nice neighborhood experience. Close to everything-walking everywhere, the only time we needed a taxi was for the Vatican and a restaurant in the suburbs.
The owner was available by phone 24 hours/day and encouraged us to call for even the most trivial of inquiries. The check-in/check-out was seamless and well-executed. I suggest taking advantage of the airport transfer- in our case a Mercedes van for the price of a standard taxi.
We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have found this place.
This apartment is simple, comfortable and superbly located. It is on the third floor with a tiny but effective elevator and nice views over the rooftops. The queen size bed was comfortable and there was a good supply of pillows, linens and blankets. There is wifi. We noted our stay very much and wouldn't hesitate to go back. We loved being five minutes from Campo di Fiori and could walk to most destinations easily.
The pictures tell the story -- a beautiful historic property in a great area of Rome. Loved the leather/handbag shop across the street and the Roscioli a few doors down where they will chop of a piece of amazing pizza for you. A very short walk to the Campo dei Fiori and walking distance to most everything else. This was our third trip to Rome, but it was a totally different experience to get away from the hotels on the Via Veneto and into a home in what became "our neighborhood."
We started our stay at an outdoor cafe with coffee and pastries with the amazing Massimo -- a fount of wisdom about Italy, Italians, the neighborhood and it's many shops and culinary delights, and life in general.
The flat itself was lovely and full of every practical thing you will need. Highly recommended.
