Arco della Ciambella studio is a haven in heaven: nice, intimate, charming, full of art and perfectly located some 200 metres behind the Pantheon and a few steps away from La Basilica Santa Maria sopra Minerva, which hosts Michelangelo's "Redentore". Although a studio, Arco della Ciambella provides plenty of space for a couple and even has a small bedroom for a child. If I were to find any fault with it, it would be the very small bathtub, which can be tricky if you're not young and nimble. Anyway, it is one of the nicest places to stay in Rome. A lot of tourist spots are within walking distance: Chiesa del Gesu, Piazza Navona, Chiesa di San Luigi dei Francesi (with three of Caravaggio's paintings), the Pantheon, Largo di Argentina etc. Shops, wine bars, restaurants, gelaterias and trattorias surround you. All in all, there are few things which can beat five days in Rome (one of them would be two weeks in Rome). Irina and Radu from Bucharest, Romania.
This is a large studio with a terrace about 500 metres from the Pantheon and within a few minutes of Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori. The location is perfect and we walked almost everywhere. Buses are a short walk away. We stayed for 15 nights in August/September and the cost was approximately 100 Euros per night. The studio has everything you could want, including a hairdryer, dishwasher and washing machine. It is furnished with antiques, certainly old, furniture and the Rental in Rome website description was accurate. We were late arriving at the airport, but called Rental in Rome and their agent met us at the apartment. Linens were changed after one week. Things you should know - there is no oven, the bath/shower is the smallest I have ever seen and would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues, the washing machine works well, but buy liquid detergent, don't use the powder supplied! The great thing about this place was being able to pop back for a break whenever we felt like it. Often, we picked up a panini or a slice of pizza and went home to eat on our own terrace with our own wine.
