Overall, we enjoyed our week-long stay in Rome. The apt was close to buses, taxi stand, grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants. The owner, Maria, was responsive to questions and sent someone to meet us personally when we arrived.
The apt is clean, well appointed and very quiet. The building is secure with a doorman during the day and a locked main entrance at night. The kitchen has basic crockery and cutlery as well as staples like salt, sugar, coffee, spices, etc. The beds and towels are fresh and clean. There is plenty of closet space. The washing machine in the kitchen was very handy to have, but if you are not Italian, be sure to ask instructions before she leaves at checkin. The air conditioners are in the bedrooms and take overnight to cool the entire apt down, but once cool, it stays that way. I will also note that we stayed during record heat of 100*F!
The only negative is that we were not told that the power box is overloaded and in order to use the washer or blow dryer, you must first turn off the air conditioners.
Overall, we definitely recommend.
