Nice small boutique hotel in a great location. Minutes from the Forum & Colosseum. I loved being able to walk the sites after dark after the tourist had cleared out. Really felt like you were in the heart of the city as we were able to see most sites on foot. Took a cab to the Vatican but wound up walking back to hotel on a beautiful night. Stopped by Piazza Navona & Trevi fountain which were on the way back and also beautiful at night.

The staff of the hotel was great and friendly. Shoutout to Luka (sp?) who always had a smile on his face and greeted us with Tiramisu upon checkin and later brought us wine during happy hour. He seemed to always be there. The staff was great whether recommending a local restaurant or helping with site seeing plans. They even called a local vendor and spoke to them in Italian to help us change a time.

I would stay here again.

How many hotels have ancient ruins as their lobby?
Rooms are spacious and comfortable, staff is very helpful and nice, and the location is the best - right near many cool sites in Rome.
Looking forward to coming back

Interesting and lovely boutique hotel in a good location but extremely expensive. Stayed in a junior suite that was interesting but cramped with too much furniture making it difficult to move around. Shower was a half glass door in a jacuzzi tub that was difficult to get in and out of....also felt very dangerous and slippery.
Staff was very nice especially breakfast area on 4th floor. Breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Additionally offered freshly made eggs, french toast and pancakes.

Room Tip: Stay in a regular room. A suite type room is probably not worth the expense.

Dear Mr MikandMur ,
thank you very much for your review on tripadvisor .
We do not understand why you wrote not a good comment for us , when you made the reservation you saw the cost of the room ,you were aware about it ,so for this reason we do not understand why are you complaining about the price . Also we gave you the room that you made the reservation , a Junior Suite ,
maybe the next time if you wish to pay less you can book a superior room .
Thank you very much again .
Have a good day

My husband and I and adult children loved our stay at this small, well situated, and boutique style hotel. The staff was A+, rooms where very comfortable with all the needed amenities, and the location was close to walk or quick ride or metro to all major sites. Breakfast and happy hour are on the fourth floor which has a beautiful terrace overlooking the city and the food was ample and all delicious. We couldn't have been happier. If you don't like big hotels, but do like a place where the locals can send you to great restaurants and things to do/see, this is the place for you. We felt very welcomed and appreciated. Would go back in a heartbeat!

4 floor townhouse steps away from restaurant and coliseum. I never knew things like this existed. There is no where else I would stay when visiting Rome. Service was impeccable. We were greeted in a BC cave with wine and tira masu. Service was special.

Room Tip: Must get the townhouse!
