Pros:Updated apartment with excellent layout, great wi-fi, good furniture, large bedroom and light and airy. Spotless. Couldn't ask for anything more.(except dish soap, more bathroom soap& toilet paper.) Our daughter visited ( a student in the area) and found the pull-out couch quite comfortable with good linens. High-ceilings, fresh drapes, nicely decorated for a rental. Location is very convenient in Trastevere, with a cab stand about a 3 minute walk on the road by the Tiber. Bustling night life with tourists walking about eating and drinking. Management was easy and reliable to work with. (tip: provide info on how to use the dryer!) Clothes washer
allows you to pack lightly and just bring carry-on bag for luggage.
Cons: We were there while many Italians were still on vacation from Easter and also celebrating May Day. The noise on 2 nights was overwhelming until 2-3am. No kidding. Must bring earplugs. Nights got quieter after the hoilday. Plan accordingly, as Trastevere is party central with lots of drinking, singing, yelling, etc. Actually, rather fun to stroll through the throngs of young people in the squares at night. Felt safe as police hang out in the busy squares. We would rent here again.
