“Perfect”
Reviewed 10 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Everything about this place was perfect. It is easy to communicate with Francesca, close to the Metro, easy walking to the Vatican, plenty of shopping and good food around.
The air conditioning worked great as it was very hot during our stay. So did the wi-fi.
We had a wonderful 10 day stay.

“Fantastic Apartment”
Reviewed 18 September 2015 for a stay in July 2015

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights in July-Aug and had a fantastic stay. The building is located on a quiet street right off the main path to St. Peter’s. The inside of the building is very nice and clean with 2 sets of locked doors for added security. There is a very cool, old elevator. The apartment itself is beautiful – wonderful antiquey furniture that seems much too nice to be in a rental. The living room area has nice comfy couch great for unwinding at the end of a long day. The compact kitchen is well stocked. We really appreciated the supply of coffee and creamer! Also provided with all the basic toiletries, laundry detergent, etc. The bedroom is enormous – plenty of room to spread out luggage. It was very hot the week we were there, and the A/C worked GREAT.

There are great restaurants very close by; we especially liked Amalfi for dinner, Panino Divino for delicious sandwiches, and L’Involtino for fresh canoli. There are also a couple of convenience stores/markets on the same block to get basic groceries.

Francesca was a wonderful host. We communicated regularly by email before arrival and she was waiting for us when our taxi pulled up. I even asked her to help us make lunch reservations in Florence, which she did! She is set up on WhatsApp, so we were able to communicate during our stay as needed. Overall, this was a wonderful, very reasonably priced apartment and made me a believer in apartments over hotels. If you’re planning to spend a significant amount of time in the St. Peter’s area, as we did, I definitely recommend this apartment.

“Exellent location, excellent accomodation”

The other reviews were on the mark, so won't repeat the accolades. If we return to Rome, we will attempt to stay here first. Be aware that the street that this property is on changes names as you go down it...back and forth in some cases. Our GPS did not know that, so it initially took us to a place a few blocks away. Fortunately, there was a gentleman standing there that helped us. The Amalfi Restaurant, on both sides of this one-way street, is your best landmark to tell you you've arrived...it is also good eating! Parking on the street is free from 8pm to 8am, and 1 Euro per hour the rest of the time. However, we parked our car in a garage about 6 blocks away as we weren't using it while in Rome....Francesca can tell you where it is.

“Everything you need for a comfortable stay in Rome”

The Vatican Suite is located very conveniently near the Vatican with easy access to the metro and busses for visiting other neighborhoods in Rome. The Suite is in a beautiful, quiet building with secure access and an elevator. There are many friendly restaurants and markets on the street. This is an extremely well equipped and comfortable apartment. Francesca met us as planned and showed us how to use the coffee maker, the gas stove, the dish washer, the washing machine, and the air conditioner. It was a very hot week in Rome, so the air conditioner was appreciated! We were joined by another couple who used the living room as their bedroom and said the fold out sofa was comfortable. We were shocked to find out our flight out of Rome had been cancelled! Francesca kindly allowed us to stay another night in the apartment so we wouldn't have to relocate. We will definitely book the Vatican Suite again when we return to Rome!
