This little apartment is located in the heart of one of the most trendy/popular neighborhoods in Rome. It had everything we needed: a comfy bed, Wi-Fi, couch, TV, kitchenette (for small meals), fridge, and AC on both floors. There are several options for dining/shopping right around the block from this apartment! One of the best restaurants is just around the corner called 'Carlo Menta'. I challenge you to find a more authentic meal for the prices they offer. It's insane!
Location: a step away from the bus/tram, and within walking distance to most major attractions including Vatican City, Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona. (we bought the week-long bus/tram/metro pass to supplement our walking, but we mostly ended up just walking!).
Lorenzo was an accommodating host and supplied us with whatever we needed when we asked. We ran out of bath soap and toilet paper on the the 5th day, and he rushed over before noon to give us replacements.
I highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Rome, whether you want to be a tourist and see all of the attractions, or just walk around and live like a Roman.
-For some reason, the taxis can never find this place, but once they take out there map, they figure it out and drop you off on a side street (the driveway is too small for them to pull in)
-The stairs that lead up to the bedroom can be daunting, but you get used to them
-Square toilet slightly uncomfortable, but nothing too serious
-Shower is in the bedroom, didn't bother us
-The upstairs bedroom can get warm, but keep both AC units on and you should be fine
