“My Romania home”
Reviewed 11 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

It's the second time we have stayed in this apartment, it has everything you need in a very good location close to Metro and tram stops. The two best features are the little patio area, perfect for a glass of wine in the evening and the restaurant down stairs has very reasonably priced good food and excellent service. All in all a great holiday apartment

“Fantastic location for sights and good restaurants”
Reviewed 10 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The large well kept apartment was great for my family of 5 and is within walking distance of all the main attractions. The furthest being the Colosseum which is either a 30min walk or a 10 euro taxi ride away. The apartment is conveniently located near a mini mart store, the metro, bus stop, a taxi rank, and a number of restaurants. (We highly recommend the Ristorante Pizzeria Popolo Caffe just across the road)
The only downside is the noise at night (until 1pm) from the tram and passengers as the terminus is right below the bedroom windows. As we have a number of light sleepers in the family this was resolved by buying ear plugs.

“Spacious accommodation in a great location”
Reviewed 12 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

The apartment is much larger than I imagined and would comfortably accommodate 5 people, it's in a fantastic part of the city, just slightly north east of the centre of Rome but which means you are either walking distance or very close to other means of transport around the city. Watch out for the hop on hop off bus as the map they give you is very poor and it's quite difficult to find the bus stops (as they have very few signs - look for the temporary bus stop signs in grey and brown with any tourist bus logo on it, as they all stop at the same ones). The fountain in the piazza is unfortunately undergoing repairs but the restaurants and shops around it are of very good quality, unlike the more tourist locations, so you are only 5mins from good food and drink!
The only down side is the proximity to the Tram stop outside, if you are an early riser its fine but the noise starts around 6am.
I would definitely recommend the luggage transport service to the airport when returning, around 9 euros each suitcase but means you can go off for the day and not worry about them. Taxis are approx 48 euros from the airport

“Great Central Location!”
Reviewed 2 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Martina a Piazza del Popolo is in an absolutely perfect location for sightseeing Rome. The apartment is right off of the Flaminia metro stop and within walking distance of many popular Rome tourist sites and shopping.

We stayed here in a group of 8 which was a little tight, especially with 2 bathrooms but the price was unbeatable. The apartment itself is fairly large with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, and kitchen. There is also a back balcony off of the kitchen. The biggest downside is the tram outside the front of the apartment which can be quite loud but typically stops around midnight.

The condition of the apartment is typical to other residences I have seen in Rome, not likely up to US standards but for a cheap vacation rental when you are really only looking to sleep in the apartment you will absolutely not beat this place. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with up until arrival. They were also able to provide airport transfers to and from the apartment.

For those wishing to use the kitchen there are two grocery stores a couple stops down on the tram and some mini grocery like stores beneath the apartment. There is also an added bonus of a gelato shop right beneath the apartment and a kebab place across the street which was fantastic!

“great location”
Reviewed 9 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

The apartment was spacious and comfortable for a family of 5. Owners were very responsive and kind. They can arrange transportation etc. If you like to shop for clothes, all the high end stores are in walking distance and the metro is on the corner. There is a good gelato shop right downstairs. The trolly is a little noisy so bring you ear plugs.
