The pros of the apartment were the great location, decore and the roof garden, the sound proof windows and doors which were all wonderful! However, the kitchen needs updating ( no doorknobs, little crockery or utensils) and the pilled sheets were not good. Moreover, my girlfriend slept on the lounge bed and is still recovering form bed bugs!! This needs attention before another person is bitten to death. Also the owner was not there and the person who let us in spoke no English!! With these renovations and changes will be a prefect place to stay when in Rome.

Just spent four days in Rome and as usual when we travel we booked an appartment from a local, hate hotels.
Casa del Cedro was just a five minute walk from the main Trastevere strip, nestled amongst other itallian homes and resteraunts. The house comprises of four floors with bed 1, shower room/toilet and open plan bath on the ground. Second floor has your kitchen and dining area. Third floor is a seating/sleeping area and the top floor is the main bedroom that leads onto the roof garden. The roof garden is lovely with seating and a brick barbecue, nice shrubs and trees surround you and the surrounding gardens are nice to look at while enjoying the sun.
The house has evrything you might need in a cupboard somewhere. There is strong wifi which allowed multiple devices access to the net. There is a tv in the main bedroom, itallian freeview only.
Aircon on top floor and central heating throughout.
House is very secure with heavy steel doors on both the top and ground floors, excellent locks.
Marina b the owner was nice and very friendly and there to meet us on time, plenty of information left in room by Marina in case of issues.
All in all a lovely place to spend our itallian break in, Thanks Marina!
