“Great apartment, great location”

A friend and I booked this apartment t for a week from 3/16/16-3/23/16. Everything about the place was outstanding...location, amenities, beauty, design. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars instead of 4 is that at night, the upstairs neighbor clumps around sometimes until quite late and for me, sleeping in the bedroom, when I kept the patio doors open at night for fresh air, there was a flock of seagulls roosting overhead that squawked incredibly loudly all night long so much so that it actually woke me up night after night, until I finally realized I had to keep the doors shut. Since I love fresh air at night, that was a hard concession to make. But except for those two noise problems, the place was outstanding. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

“Best everything - location, amenities and service CAN NOT be beat!”

My family of four (myself, husband and children ages 11 and 12) rented the Campo dei Fiori High Tech apartment for six nights in late March 2016.

I almost don't know where to begin to rave about this place. The location, in my opinion, is in the heart of Rome. Just one block from Campo Dei Fiori yet as quiet as could be! We walked everywhere from here, and if we didn't want to walk, Largo Argentina was a 5 min. walk where there was a taxi stand. How convenient is that?

The apartment was large and roomy with all the wifi and surround sound you could ask for. As a mom, the washing machine/dryer was a lifesaver and so easy to use! The outdoor terrace was a wonderful place to enjoy a morning coffee.

But possibly the BEST part of the apartment is it's owner, Francesco. This review would not be complete without mentioned him and his attention to detail. From the moment I emailed him requesting availability to the numerous other times I asked him questions or changed dates, Francesco responded IMMEDIATELY! He is amazing at what he does - which is cater to his clients.

The apartment had everything - detergent, soaps, coffee, pantry items, even bags for bringing groceries from the corner market. Everything was outlined in English and he even gave us a welcome bottle of wine.

When we called him because of a minor issue we had, he was at the apartment the next morning (Easter Sunday no less) and fixed it immediately. I really could go on and on about him, but just know that you are in the best hands. He even printed out AND delivered to our door the voucher tickets we had bought online for the Vatican Museum and Colosseum.

Francesco, if you are reading this - Grazie mile! You were an integral part of my family's epic trip to Rome. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for sharing this apartment with the rest of us. Ciao, until we visit Rome again.

“Absolutely the best apartment ever!”
Reviewed 30 November 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Our review is for a stay in September, 2015, for five nights before a 28 day cruise around the Med and then a transatlantic to Florida. I apologize for the tardiness of this review, but time gets away from you while visiting so many wonderful parts of Europe.

First, the location is superb! It is in the heart of the old city of Rome, and it was soooooo easy to get around. From our apartment, we were able to walk everywhere quite easily. We found excellent restaurants and shops of all kinds within a few blocks' radius. As well, Trastevere is just a few minutes away and across a lovely bridge. Obviously, the Campo Dei Fiori is just around the corner, and it has a wonderful daily market, In addition, a lovely food and wine(mini supermarket) was just around the corner. We found everything we wanted there from a bar of soap to wine to cheese to diet soda, and even peanuts to go with our wine happy hour after a loooooong day of walking around Rome!

Next, the apartment is even better than all of the pictures show......all pictures depict exactly what we lived with for those five wonderful days, and our experience was that living in that lovely and historic apartment was so comfortable and relaxing, and had everything we needed from dishes and silverware and pots and pans to a wonderful shower and bathroom. We had wine and cheese and crackers on the lovely patio several times, and slept wonderfully on the comfy bed. The convenience of having the wi-fi and a docking station to charge my ipad and iphone was marvelous, and so easy! There is a small working elevator available, but was seldom needed, as the stairs were quite easily managed, even by a retired gal with two "new knees".

Francesco was incredible, in that he answered all of my email questions almost immediately ! I often thought that he must be working late and early every day, as no matter what time of day I emailed him from the US, he would answer so promptly! He arranged a wonderful transfer for us from the airport to the apartment, and then again for our transfer from the apartment to Civitavecchia(Port of Rome.) Both drivers and cars were excellent, in every way, with new and beautiful automobiles, and professionly dressed and friendly drivers. Also, during our stay, we often got emails/texts from Francesco, asking if we needed anything/everything working properly/ etc. All was wonderful.

I felt like a real Italian every morning, when I got up and dressed, went to the living room, and threw open the sound-proofed windows, and there below was real Rome, with older men arguing about politics, women strutting off to work in their perfect skirts and knee-high boots, brick layers getting ready for their days' work, etc, etc. It was just like in the movies. However, don't think it was noisy, as we were never once bothered by noise from outside and the street below. We truly felt like we were LIVING in Rome, not just visiting and staying in a hotel! My husband and I will stay in Campo Dei Fiori Hi Tech Terrace again, whenever we are in Rome. I just hope that Francesco's calendar will have openings for us!!

“Great Apartment for your Rome Visit”

Francesco's apartment near the Campo de' Fiori was the perfect base for our 8 day stay to explore historic Rome - within walking distance of many of the sights and with many dining options nearby. The previous reviewers accurately describe all the amenities and features of this apartment. Francesco was an excellent host - responsive, very helpful and accommodating - from apartment booking, to check-in through our departure. We also arranged airport transportation through Francesco which worked out very well. Thank you, Francesco!!

Francesco has thought of everything to make your stay convenient and comfortable. Great lighting in all rooms. Washer/dryer that work perfectly. Restaurant suggestions were all outstanding. Just minutes away from Campo with easy walking distance to most attractions (even on rainy days)
A great place to relax after all day sightseeing and museum visits.
