I lived in this apartment for 3 weeks while doing research in Rome last autumn. I loved the beautiful painted Indian antiques. The bed was very comfortable and cozy, and even though the building manager did not turn the heaters on while I lived there, the heat from the a/c units was sufficient to keep the place warm. From the tiny round portal window in the bedroom you have a little glimpse of the statues on top of the Vittorio Emanuele II monument.
I've stayed in many different apartments in Rome and in Trastevere. This area was wonderfully quiet. At night if you leave the windows open you will be able to hear kitchen noises from the ground floor restaurant (Antico Carlone) but it's not much of a din. And I just love that restaurant---it is one of the reasons I chose to rent this place!
Halldis is always a pleasure to rent with, very efficient and helpful. I hope they continue to rent this apartment because I'm hoping to rent again in the future.
