The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect! We walked to all major attractions, though some were quite a walk, but we were grateful for the exercise after all the pasta!
The room was a good size and very clean. We stayed in a room with en-suite and would recommend this option if you don't want to share a bathroom. The only issue - the shower is tiny! It is something to consider if you are above average size.
The neighbourhood is attractive, safe and full of great places to eat.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful, happy to give recommendations.
I would highly recommend this B&B for people looking for something clean, simple and central.

Visited from 30/6 to 5/7 2016 from Scotland. Location is ideal with Vatican 10 minutes away and all other tourist attractions within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants nearby and La Romana which has the best gelato we had round the corner. With regards to the hotel, it's is more like a boutique guesthouse with very charming character. It is one floor up and upon entering, we had very good impressions. Once checked in, the room was everything we could need. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The air con was great and the room was supplied with a TV, fridge and kettle. Bathroom was simple and very clean, good powerful shower. The host was very helpful and for 5 nights, we for €368 very reasonable considering the location. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome.

Charming hotel, central location, yet quiet. Safe area with easy access to sights and restaurants. Bus service nearby. Helpful host but unobtrusive, kindly lent us an umbrella and guide books. Spacious, comfortable and clean room. Bed linen and towels changed regularly.

We stayed here after reading trip advisor reviews. It's close to the attractions but without being too noisy. Located on a side street near to Castel Sant Angelo, it's a clean and peaceful guesthouse which is very reasonably priced. We stayed in an ensuite room which was perfect for resting in between days sightseeing. The staff were friendly and on hand to help if needed. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Roma!

Antiqua Roma is a lovely guesthouse beside the river tiber. Enrico is an excellent host. He was so kind and helpful. He provides us with information and maps for our travels. There is a pretty hallway once you enter the guesthouse, rooms are spacious due to the high ceilings. Our room was cleaned each day and we received fresh towels also. There's a bridge very close to the accommodation and once you cross over you are ten minutes walk from spanish steps and trevi fountain. The Vatican and castel di sant angel are so close. We walked everywhere and the area is quiet and safe at night. Piazza del popolo is close by and is a great place to sit back and get away from the crowded tourist areas. Best places to eat are where the locals dine, via de mercede is popular hub for business men for lunch.
