Rome Sightseeing hotel choice

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 1 Nov 2024
Fabulous City Break hotel, located approximately 7 minute walk from Metro Line B stop. Chosen after research for a City hotel a little removed from the noise of Rome! Would thoroughly recommend the Deluxe room with Jacuzzi and balcony. Good food - both breakfast and evening meal (only eat in hotel on one night due to torrential rain but very glad we did!)
Date of stay: October 2024
Room Tip: Using the Metro to Termini takes less than 20 minutes (depending upon train frequency) and costs...

Stayed here before. This time 4 nights with breakfast. Was very much disappointed-expected much, much more for 300 Euro/night and as Gold member with more than 40 Accor stays per year.

- Checkin/ Checkout extremely complicated, they don’t care you traveled 24+ hours. Not welcoming.
- Hotel has still no reception, which means you have to carry your luggage down/up several stairs without help. No elevator.
- The “reception” is simply a desk in front of the bar.
- No upgrade as gold member. Room was tiny.
- No water bottle as gold member.
- Welcome drink as gold member tiny.
- Reception never picks up the phone.
- Room not cleaned one time.
- Tea in room not provided.
- Breakfast ok but too sweet.
- Dry cleaning clothes messes up.

Charging 300 Euro/night for this is a rip off! And it is far outside the city centre. You spend 25 Euro to get to the city centre.

Why am I still staying with Accor? More expensive than competitors and no real advantages!

NEVER again this place!

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I am truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience during your recent stay. As a Gold member and a valued guest with more than 40 stays per year, you rightfully expected a higher level of service, and it is clear that we did not meet those expectations.

I apologize for the complications you faced during check-in and check-out, as well as the absence of an elevator, which should have made your arrival and departure more comfortable. Your comments regarding the reception setup and the lack of welcome amenities, such as the water bottle and welcome drink, are noted and will certainly be addressed with our team to ensure we provide maintain standard service for all our guest.

I am also disappointed to learn that your room was not cleaned during your stay and that you did not receive the tea in your room. This is not the standard of service we strive to provide, and I will address your feedback with our housekeeping team for immediate improvement.

Regarding your experience with the breakfast and dry cleaning services, we appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration as we work to enhance our offerings.

We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for falling short during your stay. It is our hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide you with the quality experience you expect from Accor.

Possibly one of the best hotels I have stayed at! We stayed for 4 days / 5 nights and could not complain about a thing!

We were fortunate enough to have a hot tub on our balcony and the minibar was refreshed on a daily basis.

The staff were amazing and couldn't be any friendlier or helpful. We loved the chilled vibe around the hotel and the breakfast was delicious and good verity but the evening meals were mouthwatering. (Heads up, Saturday night is busy and the Pizzaria is closed on a Monday night)

We would definitely recommend this for couples visiting Roma!

Grazie and Cioa

Room tip: The 88 bus takes you straight to the edge of roma!

I had the chance to stay at this hotel for a work event and I have to say I really enjoyed it. What impressed me was the stunning design, location close to public transportation and city center, yet very quiet.
The room was exquisite and I had all the comfort together with availability from the personnel.
Definitely will try again when I'll have the chance.

We stayed here for two nights. Entering the room you could see that the chair had a urine stain on it but my husband said not to complain and flipped the cushion over. After the first night I noticed my daughter had a rash but went away quickly once I got her out of the hotel and sight seeing. The next morning she was covered in another rather. I took the sheets out of her portable crib and there were feces stains all over the baby crib mattress. When I went to the front desk there was not general manager on site and was told they do not live in Italy and they would contact me the following day. They never did.

Room tip: Terrible!!! Stay away!! DIRTY and not safe for your health!

I am deeply sorry to hear about this issue you encountered. This is definitely not the standard of service we aim to provide, and the first time such incident happened. I can assure you that we are particularly attentive, with a series of internal protocols, to the well-being of the customer. I tried to reach you by emails in order to exchange with you.
