I am in the process of staying at this hotel for 4 nights. It holds a great location & so far everyone seems very friendly & can't do enough for you. Rome is an expensive place but this hotel is great value for money. The breakfast is one of the better ones I've seen for Italian hotels.

my mother and i have just returned from a 5 day break in rome and had a really great time,we stayed at the hotel milano and were very pleased with our choice,we caught the terravision bus
from the airport right to termimi station, then it was a couple of minutes walk to the hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean and had a mini fridge, safe, the rooms arnt large but we only slept
there so it was plenty big enough for us, The breakfast was very good plenty of choice and there was free tea coffee squash all day in the tv room we would definately stay there again. We went on the hop on hop off bus tour which is good value, food and drinks especially are very expensive in Rome but there are some lovely sights to see just eat and drink away from the main attractions

Room Tip: we stayed in room 419 not much of a view we were at the back but wasnt in much and room was quiet a...

We booked this hotel primarily because of its location, just 2 walking blocks from the major train station Termini. We arrived at Termini from a train in Venice, and needed to take the train back to Paris from Termini. The subway system in Rome is not nearly has elaborate as London or Paris. It has only two lines. So getting to an off-location hotel cheaply is not the easiest. There are ample taxis outside the train station though.

Walk to the hotel is very quick (less than 5 minutes), very easy to find. The hotel street itself is pretty quiet. So you forget about the train station shortly. There are two grocery stores near the hotel, pricer one in the basement of the Termini station, and a reasonable one down the street (front desk will direct you there).

For a family of 4, the hotel gave us two joined rooms so that's nice to have the kids sleep in a separate room. Each room seems to have one "real" bed, and one sofa sleeper. They are typical European old hotels ... rooms are high ceiling, but beds and bedding are small/old color. The rooms have tall shutter windows. When you open, you look upon local Rome apartments and can actually see inside people's rooms (and they yours! :)

Hotel staff is helpful when asked. But not the smiling/happy kind that voluntarily gushes you with information and tips. It's sufficient. They have a large baggage room to store away your bags on your last day, in case you want to wander around.

One advantage of being near Termini is transportation in general. Termini is where the two main metro lines cross each other. So you get to and from anything quickly. Termini is also a hub of buses, in case you opt for that.

Nothing spectacular about the hotel, but its price/location does the trick. Given how hot Rome is in July, I can't overstate how nice it is to have just a short walk to arrive and leave the city. A/C works too. We spent the whole day outside the room anyhow.

This was a lovely Hotel. Not fancy but very clean and comfortable with nice friendly staff. Breakfast had lots of choice of good quality food. I am not sure I would visit Rome again as we had our bag stolen at the staion within 20 minutres of being there but If I did I would stay at this hotel.

My second visit to Rome - my wife had not been before - and I chose a central location for convenience. The receptionist did not give us full attention on arrival allowing herself to be interrupted by other guests. The porter suffered from very bad body odour and was quite rude on a couple of occasions. Sleep quality was affected by poor soundproofing. Breakfast room was crowded and dominated by business customers. Staff seemed stressed and overworked. Good location for central Rome. Compared with my previous visit standards of service and value for money have declined in the Eternal City. This is unusual for Italy - I felt that I was being ripped off most of the time.

Room Tip: This hotel is suitable for business trips
