Worth a visit to see the Ecstasy of Saint Teresa - but the rest of the church is worth it too.
What a wonderfully atmospheric church which is a peaceful escape form the hustle and bustle of Rome. A place of quiet contemplation even for the non religious.
Fans of Dan Brown with recognise this place - but go even if you haven't read Angels & Demons.

Took my breath away when I walked inside. The decorations are spectacular.

Many people will make the visit here just to see the Ecstacy of St Theresa, as it is one of the churches mentioned in Angels & Demons. And whilst it is worth the visit here to see Bernini statue, you can't fail to be impressed by the rest of the church.

The church is a 5-10 minute walk from the main termini or 5 minute walk from Repubblica metro stop on the A line. Be sure to remember the church is closed from 12 pm to 3:30 pm Monday to Saturday. The Bernini scultpure is beautiful as is the rest of this small church. It is definitely worth seeing and free to get in.
