Family trip to Rome (two adults, one child). While the hotel was a bit difficult to find (even for our airport shuttle driver), it was situated very close to the Colosseum and Palatine Hill (and the Colosseo Metro station), which made it easy to walk around the city.
Breakfasts were quite enjoyable, and the hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate us, including allowing us to store luggage the day we arrived, agreeing to accept delivery of our rail pass, and offering to prepare us a take-away breakfast on our last morning there as we had to catch an early train.
The room was a bit dark, but pleasantly decorated, and warm...although the bathroom was small, but then again, so were the bathrooms at the other places we stayed at.More
