This is our second visit at the hotel Albergo Santa Chiara.. and we loved it again! This time we came with our 3 children (5 of us total) and stayed in one of the suites (#A1) and it was very spacious and accommodating. 1 room with large bed for parents, living room with 3 single beds for kids, and large bathroom with wonderful rain-shower.. and private terrace! Location is excellent, right around corner from Pantheon, and we walked everywhere in Rome from there. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast included each morning is perfect too. We will stay here next time we are come to Rome!

Room Tip: Family Suite Room#A1 is a great option since most hotels in Europe seem to have small rooms. 1 suite handled our family of 5 very well!

For Rome, the price quality ratio is OK. It holds 3 stars, whereas I did not see a difference to other 4 stars hotels I have been. The breakfast buffet is very copious, with the possibility to take it outside. The room was OK, whereas the bathroom was quite new. The only negative point was the elevator, we had to take to arrive at the 4th floor. It was old, slow and very small. Arrived at the 4th floor, we still had to take stairs to arrive at our room.
The location of the hotel is excellent. It is only a few steps away from the Pantheon and Piazza Navona and around 500 meters from the Trevi fountain and Piazza di Spagna.

I couldn’t have asked for more when it comes to location for a hotel in Rome. The hotel is about a two minute walk behind the Pantheon, and very well situated to take a break in the afternoon.

I had a corner room on the third floor, and while the room was on the small side, it was very lovely because it had windows on two walls that looked out on to the street. I know some other reviews have complained about noise, but when the windows were closed you couldn’t really hear much.

The bathroom is on the big side for Europe, BUT the shower itself is super small, cruise ship size. Wish they could have expanded that a bit.

Breakfast was good and tasty, but in the three days I was there the variety never changed.

Front desk staff were helpful. Bellmen were super helpful and nice.

I would probably rate this hotel a 4.5, but decided to round up rather than round down. And even though there are probably nicer options available, I would likely stay here again due to location and a decent price.

This is a very comfortable hotel in a great location. It has a friendly, family run atmosphere. The rooms facing the courtyard are very quiet (if comparatively small). Breakfast is good and there are lots of eating options nearby. Definitely worth paying a bit more to be right in the centre.
The hotel arranged our transfer from the airport; the transfer was efficient and very good value.

Hotel Alberto Santa Chiara nails all of the important points perfectly - good sound insulation, cold bed, dark curtains, friendly helpful staff, great location.

Walking around Rome all day was a pretty crowded, hot, sweaty affair, and having a room like ours at this place to come back to at the end of the day to clean up and cool off, made all the difference.

Room Tip: Our room was good, but don't know how to recommend.
