“Bigger shower please!”

Average hotel, but good location. Termini Station a few steps. Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore 3 minutes walk. Bus terminal very close to hotel. Piazza Repubblica five minutes. The rooms quite good, but the shower is extremely narrow. Breakfast average, coffee really good. Public transport perfect. Lot of restaurants everywhere. Staff good and helpful. Rome is a unique and wonderful city hundreds of sights. I enjoyed very much.

What to say about the Giada Hotel. Ummm, the location was good if you use the bus system or the trains. The employees for the most part are pleasant but as for the hotel itself, it seems the owners don't put the money back into it. If you look at the pictures the hotel provides you, beware. It's easy to say that a hotel is just a place to sleep but if the mattresses were made the same year you Grandmother was born you can pretty much forget the sleep part. The rooms were clean but worn. Don't expect to fill up at their continental breakfast or think about a second cup of coffee without paying for it. If you need a hair drier be sure to pack one good for 220 v, and an extension cord if you hope to get near a mirror. We actually walked to "Vatican City" from there to see the sights along the way and then returned on a slightly different path to see more. It took about 1- 1 1/2 hours on the way there and a little more on the way back ( more to see on the return path). Someone needs to be the map person and plot it out before hand.

Room Tip: Seeing is believing... and I don't mean the pictures for this hotel.

This is the perfect place if you need a clean room and place to shower. The bed was somewhat comfy, breakfast was ok but the rooms were clean and is in a perfect location. The train station and Coloseum are both extremely close. The only thing that annoyed me was you had to go to the lobby to use the Internet. If you're on a budget and can live without all the pamperings of a nice hotel this is your place.

Very poor and the staff were impolite. We had to wait till 3 pm for the rooms although we arrived about 10 am. We booked 4 days before we went to Rome.

I was looking for a non-expensive hotel (single room) close to Termini station for 2 nights, and found Hotel Giada on the website nyceRome.com. The hotel (3 stars) is quite basic, but clean, and it satisfied my needs. The room was simply furnished, but the bed was good. The breakfast was average.
The location of the hotel was superb, 3 minutes from Termini station and 3 minutes from Maria Maggiore, so I felt I got fair value for the money.
There are many 3 stars hotels in the same street as this hotel, so next time i may try another one.
